The garden was designed by Christine and Timothy in 1983 and has developed and extended over the years. There are garden buildings to use and plenty of seating scattered about.
There will be an opportunity during each stay for a short tour into some of the other historic rooms where many original oil paintings hang on the walls.

The historic church is just opposite and is normally open, provided the Covid guidance does not direct otherwise. The house fronts onto bridleways and footpaths in several directions, so access both short and long distances are available to exercise or enjoy.  Bedfield Hall is in the heart of countryside with no light pollution, so the night sky can be quite a sight.
